Sleep Apnea Assessment
Most people with Sleep Apnea are actually unaware they have a sleep disorder. In fact, one in ten adults- over 43 million- suffer from this common and potentially fatal sleep disorder. It is as common as diabetes and asthma. The risks of untreated OSA include heart attack, stroke, impotence, heart disease and high blood pressure. It also results in an increase in accidents in the workplace, lost productivity and
motor vehicle
accidents. Sleep studies are painless but sleep apnea is a life threatening condition. Early diagnosis and treatment reduces or eliminates the risks associated with sleep apnea.
